Minus33 Women’s 100% Wool Base Bottoms Reviews
There were mostly very positive reviews for the Minus33 Women’s 100% Wool Base Bottoms. One person thought they were a bit on the expensive side, but she could not find anything cheaper that offered the warmth of these and she has really lived in them over the winter, so feels they did turn out to be a good deal!
Another reviewers stated that these Minus33 bottoms are far superior to the women’s midweight bottoms made by Icebreaker, Ibex (Long Janes), and SmartWool. The wool is thicker, the feel is divinely soft, and the cut is superb for me. These bottoms actually look good, as a pair of jeans or ski pants, when on alone. This review is paraphrased for size, see original review here.
If you are planning some cycling in the spring, fall or winter you want all the benefits of a wool base layer.
One review stated I LOVE these. Great price, soft and completely itch-free, perfect thickness, you really can’t go wrong. I got a larger size than needed, because I wanted to wear them loose, like sweatpants. They are thick enough and don’t show underwear through, so they can be worn as outerwear like this.
The waistband is a bit large due to this, however, the waist is high, so I can roll them down a few times to make the waist fit, and they are now fit well. Perfect warmth for around the house, not too hot at all. I plan on ordering a smaller form fitting size for a first layer, and double up for the cold New Hampshire winter weather and skiing. Between this and my Smartwool socks, I want to toss out all of my clothes that aren’t made of wool!
The Minus33 Women’s 100% Wool Base Layer Bottoms are super at keeping you warm cycling during the colder months.
