The Ibex Men’s Giro Long Sleeve Cycling Jersey makes riding on those chilly spring mornings, late fall afternoons and just about everything in between more comfortable. The Giro fits close to your body, repels moisture and keeps you dry while cycling in quickly changing conditions.
The Giro is made from superfine New Zealand Merino wool, a jersey fabric as fine as it gets. The magic of the merino wool in the Ibex Men’s Giro Long Sleeve Cycling Jersey is in its ability to naturally block odor, insulate, and transfer excess heat before it turns into sweat. The mid-weight, soft merino wool performs season after season, unlike synthetic jerseys that have wash-out odor treatments.
The ability of Merino to absorb large amounts of moisture vapor (up to 35% of its own weight) buffers the body’s microclimate in changing conditions. Not only does Merino help to remove sweat, it actually lowers your temperature in the process. The process by which Merino transforms sweat into vapor is known as evaporation. Conversely, through a process known as heat of sorption, a perceptible temperature rise is generated through absorption of moisture by the fiber, helps you stay warm in cooler weather.

Ibex Men’s Giro Long Sleeve Cycling Jersey Reviews
While there were no reviews on Amazon there are several on the manufacturers site for the Ibex Men’s Giro Short Sleeve Cycling Jersey.
One reviewer suggested cyclists take advantage of the wicking properties of wool for hot weather riding as well as cold. Long sleeves mean less need for sunscreen.
Another reviewer stated the Ibex wool is very high quality as is the fit and finish of their products. I expect it will last as long as the merino leg warmers I bought 30 years ago. Just don’t wash it too often. So it really is cost effective if you ride a lot. Although one reviewer did not like the fit.
A wool cycling jersey offers the best qualities including no odor, temperature control, no itching, retains its shape and looks good too. Check out the Ibex Men’s Giro Long Sleeve Cycling Jersey.
