What customers say about the Pearl iZUMi Womens P.R.O. Insulator Jacket
Rating:

Here are some of the positive reviews about this cycling jacket. One reviewer stated she looked at hundreds of cycling jackets online and when I found this one I thought it was too good to be true. This is a fantastic buy, a very nice, stylish and well made jacket that keeps me warm on my bike on windy or cold days.
Another reviewer mentioned one thing about Pearl Izumi – they surely know how to style a woman’s jacket. Both of these are similar to my Insulatours, but the ladies versions have pretty stitching down the zipper and pretty logos on the back. The blue has a Pearl Izumi stitching and the black has a red rose on the back of the shoulder – really classy looking.
This reviewer said she truly loves this jacket! It has kept me warm now from mid fall through to deep winter, on rides in temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to low 30s. I wear it with just a baselayer (in mid 40s to 50 degree temps), or with a baselayer and jersey (40-35 degrees) and have found it works well both ways. It’s also quite comfortable even over several layers on very cold days when it goes below 35. I love the zips on the sleeves that, when opened, widen the sleeves enough to fit easily over your layers and gloves, and I love the quilted padding that is protective as well as attractive in design.
And this cyclist stated I find this jacket to be very wind-resistant and my arms never get cold in it, though admittedly I always wear arm warmers in cool and cold weather as it is really windy where I ride–arm warmers make all the difference in the wind! So if your arms feel chilly in this jacket, I’d suggest trying a pair of arm warmers with it. As far as wear, the jacket is very durable and doesn’t get dirty easily: when I took a small spill in a pile of dirt and got covered in it, the dirt brushed right off even on the white piping (I have the black/white color).
