Typical review is that it breathes very well, but still provides warmth. It is really good, during all year, as a mid-layer; it is great as a sole layer while being active primarily in fall/spring.

Another person thought it is a fairly light top, but there is a slight heft to it that also feels very protective with well stitched seams. It is warm, but not hot. Breathable but not drafty. The fit for my frame is just perfect. The Icebreakers are NOT cheap garments, but in this case I assure you – you get exactly what you pay for.

One person sweats more than others, and synthetics of all types used to leave him smelling poorly after a workout or even midway through a hot day. He can sweat profusely in wool and when it is dry: almost no odor whatsoever

The only concern anyone voiced was they felt they could not use a dryer, although it is promoted as machine dryable.
